The 2024 year-end numbers highlighted ticket sales and attendance figures across venues worldwide. Among the notable mentions, the Florida Theatre in Jacksonville achieved remarkable milestones.

The Florida Theatre was recognized as the most attended venue in the Northeast Florida and Southeast Georgia region for venues of all types. It also made an impressive mark on the global stage, ranking #44 in worldwide attendance among theaters and landing in the Top 5 in the U.S. for venues with up to 2,000 seats.

Despite its relatively smaller size, the Florida Theatre outpaced larger venues across the First Coast in attendance numbers. The achievement underscores its popularity and ability to attract audiences from diverse regions.
“Our theatre capacity is significantly less than other venues with 1,865 fixed seats. In 2024, we sold 183,157 tickets!” the Florida Theatre said in a post on social media.
