Lamont is this year’s recipient of the E-2’s Annual Holiday Roof Giveaway for Veterans.

He said on his own, repairs would’ve cost $20,000.

“I don’t know. There’s many more veterans that are deserving. I don’t know. There’s a lot more veterans out there that are a lot more than I am. But God blessed my heart, I thank God for this,” Lamont said.

E2 Roofing is a full-service roofing company that helped orchestrate this gift.

This is the first giveaway CEO Elizabeth Weiss said they’ve done in Jacksonville.

“Being a veteran myself, there’s been so much that’s been given to me from this country so if I can find a way to give back to other veterans that have made my life better then that’s what we like to do,” Elizabeth Weiss, CEO Of E2 Roofing said.
