📦CAUGHT ON CAMERA: PORCH PIRATE ALERT📦 It’s that time of the year and thieves are out trying to steal your holiday presents. Your #CCSOFL recently arrested this suspect, who is tied to at least 3 “porch pirate” incidents in the Keystone Heights and Middleburg areas. So far this holiday season, we’ve received several calls regarding this type of crime. If you can, make sure you’re putting packages inside your home as soon as possible, or some companies like Amazon use “lockers” you can send items to. Friendly reminder: a new Florida law took effect in October, which increased penalties for porch piracy, where theft of property valued at $40 or more is now a third-degree felony. #CCSOFL #ProudlyServing #HolidaySeason #PorchPirate
