GREEN COVE SPRINGS, Fla. – The city of Green Cove Springs is hosting an unforgettable and festive Christmas parade this year and adding a special guest star to its celebrations.
Ten-time Olympic medalist Caeleb Dressel, who won nine gold medals and graduated with seven national high school records in Clay County, will ride on a decorated float embodying the spirit of the season.

“A Vintage Christmas” is the parade’s theme this year featuring 70 floats sparkling with lights making their way along Orange Avenue and US Hwy 17.
The event will take place on Saturday, Dec.7, from 12 to 9 p.m. on Walnut Street. The parade will begin at 6 p.m.
The festivities kick-off at noon in Spring Park, with 50 craft booths, food trucks, free photos with Santa.
Plus, if you are a Christmas tree fan, there will be 250 beautifully decorated Christmas trees with one 45-foot city tree that will be lit up at night.
