JACKSONVILLE BEACH, Fla. – No arrests have been announced since three separate shootings in Jacksonville Beach’s downtown bar district on St. Patrick’s Day that left a 21-year-old man dead and three other men injured.
The FBI is hoping to change that with an increased reward for information.
FBI Jacksonville announced Sunday that it is offering a reward of up to $10,000 for information leading to the conviction of those responsible for the shootings in Jacksonville Beach on March 17.

Police said the first shooting happened when a crowd was breaking up as two young men shot at each other on the boardwalk near 2nd Avenue North. Both were wounded and an innocent bystander was hit.
Police said those two shooters were hospitalized that night, but it’s unclear if they have since been released or have been charged.
Police said in the second shooting, a man in a ski mask was seen running past a bar on 3rd Avenue holding a gun and he fired a shot. No one was hurt and police later found the gun.
The third shooting took place in a restaurant parking lot at the corner of 1st Street North and Beach Boulevard and left James Jones III dead.
FBI Jacksonville said that investigators have received multiple digital files and tips related to the incidents, many of which have been helpful.
“This reward is a testament to our commitment to ensuring the safety of our community, and we encourage the public to continue providing information to further the investigation. Your contribution could be the key to bringing the perpetrators to justice,” said Amanda Warford Videll, Public Affairs Officer with FBI Jacksonville Division.
The reward will be advertised on digital billboards in the Jacksonville area for approximately one week, starting Monday.
The Jacksonville Beach Police Department remains the lead agency with assistance from FBI Jacksonville investigators.
Police said the people involved were wearing dark-colored clothes and had handguns and a rifle.
