A stroll down Memory Lane: Vic Micolucci, Chris O’Rourke reminisce on adventures over the years

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – In life, there are many types of coworkers: the coworkers that you work closely with, the coworkers that you occasionally see down the hallway, and the coworkers that you may exchange a conversation with from time to time.

Then, some coworkers become more than that — a friend, a confidant, even part of your non-blood-related family.

Anchor and I-TEAM Reporter Vic Micolucci and Photojournalist Chris O’Rourke fall in that last category.

After working together for almost a decade at News4JAX, this duo has become more than coworkers. In fact, they call each other “brother.”

For around eight years, Vic and Chris have worked on hundreds of stories -- from hurricanes and protests to undercover missions and fun community stories.

Now, after almost 16 years working at News4JAX, Vic is about to embark on a new adventure, a new opportunity to keep serving the community that he loves so much.

In this video, I had the opportunity to sit down with Vic and Chris to ask them about some of their adventures and to try to find out what makes them a “dream team.”

Believe me, it just took five seconds to figure out why these two make such a great team, and why their stories have won several awards.
