ST. JOHNS COUNTY, Fla. – On Friday night, The Going Ringside Podcast teamed up with River City Wrestling Con for a major announcement concerning its event in June.

This is part of the lead-up to River City Wrestling Con which will be held at World Golf Village June 8-9 and bring some of the biggest stars of pro wrestling to the area.

This Friday night, Going Ringside host Scott Johnson will host the press conference. He’ll be joined by WWE Hall of Famer Teddy Long, world-famous wrestler Bobby Fish along with officials from St. Johns County. They will discuss what to expect at the event this June which is being held at World Golf Village for the first time. In years past the event has been held in downtown Jacksonville, but the World Golf Village venue is expected to provide a better fan experience.

Already there have been huge stars announced for the June event including WWE Hall of Famers Mick Foley, Lita, Sean Waltman (X-Pac) and Al Snow.

But two of the biggest stars slated to be at the event in June will be announced during the live event on Friday night. Promoters say they are some of the best-known wrestlers on the planet and should bring huge fan interest to the local spring event.

Doors open for the event Friday at 6 p.m. It’s being held at Murray Bros. Caddyshack in World Golf Village and the public is invited to attend.
