JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – June is LGBTQ+ Pride Month. The month is intended to celebrate hard-won equality and to raise awareness about efforts still in progress.
Events, parades and parties are taking place all over Northeast Florida. News4Jax has compiled a list of events below.

Thursday, June 10 at 7 p.m. It’s Pride night at the park! The Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp are holding its 3rd Annual Pride Night on Thursday, June 10. All proceeds go directly to River City Pride to support River City Pride 2021 in October.
Tickets are $10. River City Pride will be outside the gate before the game at 5 p.m. for ticket pickup.
Starting the night: Ross Frontz singing the national anthem, and during the seventh-inning stretch, Hamburger Mary’s Queens will lead the crowd in “Take Me out to the Ball Game.”
Don’t forget, it’s Thirsty Thursdays at the ballpark.
Saturday, June 12 at 12 p.m. Kanine social wants you to break out your best rainbow clothing for its upcoming Pride Brunch!
A portion of proceeds from the brunch will be donated to JASMYN, a local organization for LGBTQ youth.
Amy’s Kolache Cafe will be on site with food.
“As an LGBTQ youth organization grounded in social justice and youth empowerment and liberation, JASMYN stands with every community targeted through violence, oppression, aggression or systemic bias.”

First time at Kanine social? Be sure to register an account at kaninesocial.com. Proof of up-to-date Distemper, Rabies, and Bordetella vaccinations are required. All pups over the age of six months must be spayed/neutered to enter the off-leash park.
Wednesday, June 16 at 3:00 p.m. It will be an evening of craft beer and merriment to celebrate Pride month at Legacy Ale Works.
Special pint glasses will be available to purchase that day. With each glass purchase, your name will be entered into a drawing for a gift basket created and donated by Legacy Ale Works.
“Come, relax, and have a drink with members of the board and find out more about what we do and how you can help,” the event post said. “There will be a 50/50 raffle, so test your luck and perhaps leave the night with more money than you started with.”
Legacy Ale Works has generously agreed to donate 10% of the sales from that day to House of Prism. This contribution will go toward hosting more events centered around LGBTQIA+ youth and adults of St Johns County and the surrounding area.
Legacy Ale Works made a special flight of rainbow-colored treated sours and offered to donate 50% of those sales to HOP in honor of Pride.
“We couldn’t be more grateful for the generosity shown by Legacy Ale Works. Come out and join us for a night of good times in support of a good cause,” the event said.
Saturday, June 19 at 10 a.m. This event is with the Jasmyn Youth Advisory Council -- A meet-up group for LGBTQIA+ teens in St. Augustine.
House of Prism has teamed up with PFLAG YAC to bring you this event. This is a family-friendly event for LGBTQI+ kids 13 and younger and their families.
There will be facilities, art supplies, and fun snacks/drinks provided. The theme for this event is self-portraits.

Monday, June 21 at 6 p.m. Rainbows Under the Stars! Join BrewHound for a fun-packed evening celebrating each other and the LBGTQIA+ community.
Feel free to bring your friends, partner(s), and dog (or without a dog). Meet wonderful new friends, singles, mingle, dance, sing -- everyone is free to be.
Local vendors, Fun drinks, Tasty Food, fortune-telling with astromancer Aea Celestice, Live Music with John Earle + lots more!

Saturday, June 26 at 12 p.m. Duval County Queer Pride will hold a festival at Brick & Beam in Historic Springfield.
The festival will include live entertainment, vendors and speakers that highlight the queer community of Jacksonville. The event will run from noon to 6 p.m.
Tickets are $15. Duval County Queer Pride aims to create inclusive and ethical programming for the growing LGBTQ+ population in Jacksonville.

Saturday, June 26 from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m.
House of Prism presents St. Augustine’s Pride Disco Dance Party at Push Push Hair Salon’s outdoor patio on June 26th from 5:30-9:30pm!
There will be a DJ spinning disco tracks “as we celebrate and vibe to LGBTQIA+ pride in the ancient city!” the event said.
All proceeds from this 21+ event will help local St. Augustine LGBTQIA+ teens and youth.

Tickets are $15 and includes free entertainment, beer, and food. It is highly suggested you purchase your tickets in advance as space is limited.

June 1 - June 30. For the entire month of June, Nailed It DIY Studio has partnered with JASMYN for a fundraising event, and 20% of your purchases will go directly to the organization.
