CHARLTON COUNTY, Ga. – A total of six people were injured in a Charlton County plane crash during a rough landing, the Charlton County Sheriff’s Office confirmed Thursday.
According to Charlton County Sheriff Robert Phillips, two children and four adults were seriously injured after a small plane overturned during a hard landing at Davis Field in Folkston.

The passengers included two couples; one of them lived near Davis Field.
The passengers were taken to the hospital.
The National Transportation Safety Board is investigating what led to the crash.
