GLYNN COUNTY, Ga. – Glynn County police are investigating the cause of death after the body of a missing man was found on St. Simons Island Monday morning.
Police say 24-year-old Carlos Eduardo Padilla, of Louisiana, was reported missing on Dec. 26 while he was in Glynn County on a work assignment.

His body was found by workers from a pool cleaning service at a property on Old Demere Road, according to GCPD.
Police say there is also no known connection between Padilla and the residents of the home where his body was found.
It is undetermined if foul play was involved in Padilla’s death.
