As 2024 comes to a close, it’s time to wrap up this chapter and begin preparing for 2025.

If you’re considering traveling to see fireworks, here’s a list of places to visit on Tuesday, Dec. 31.

Duval County

Downtown Jacksonville New Year’s Eve Fireworks

  • Fireworks begin at midnight along the St. Johns River in Downtown Jacksonville.

“This year fireworks will be launched from a barge on the St. Johns River between the Hyatt and DoubleTree hotels and high above the St. Johns River from the Acosta Bridge. These locations can be viewed from both the North and South banks in Downtown Jacksonville in addition to viewing from Brooklyn and under the Fuller Warren Bridge where the Riverside Arts Market is held. The fireworks show will begin at midnight to ring in 2024."

Clay County

Moosehaven in Orange Park

  • Beginning at 5 p.m., enjoy food trucks, live music, and family-friendly activities, all leading up to a stunning fireworks display.

Nassau County

Amelia Island & Shrimp Drop, Fernandina Beach

  • Fernandina Beach is known for its annual Shrimp Drop! Locals and visitors alike will gather along the riverfront in downtown Fernandina Beach to watch a giant shrimp covered in lights fall from the sky as part of an annual tradition to welcome a new year.
  • The shrimp will drop at 7 p.m. (the Greenwich Mean Time stroke of midnight) and then be immediately followed by the fireworks show.
  • Location: Fernandina Beach Waterfront, Marina Parking Lot B

St. Johns County

Light Up the Night! New Year’s Eve Fireworks Show

  • 350 A1A Beach Blvd.St. Augustine Beach, FL 32080
  • St. Augustine Beach’s New Year’s Eve fireworks display begins at 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, December 31, 2024, at the St. Johns County Ocean Pier-350 A1A Beach Blvd.

Valdosta, Georgia

Wild Adventures Family First Night & Fireworks (Must purchase a ticket)

  • 3766 Old Clyattville Road, Valdosta, GA
  • Fireworks begin at 8 p.m.
