JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – In 1999, a team of federal investigators uncovered a secret while listening to a wiretap conversation of a notorious drug dealer: A police officer with the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office was leaking information about drug investigations.

No one wanted to believe that Officer Aric Sinclair was dirty, he was well respected by people who knew him. That was until the accusation led to a witness who revealed a web of deceit and corruption so deep it triggered a three-year investigation the likes of which had never been seen within the history of the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office.
