Fernandina Beach asks for input from residents for Flood Adaptation Plan

FERNANDINA BEACH, Fla. – The city of Fernandina Beach is developing a Flood Adaptation Plan to protect the community from tidal flooding, storm surge, rainfall, and sea level rise.

And they want to hear from residents when it comes to creating “a more resilient Fernandina Beach.”

The project is being funded by the Resilient Florida Program.

Residents are asked to take a few minutes to complete a confidential survey.

“Your input is crucial in guiding this vital plan,” the city said.
