JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Monster Jam is taking place at EverBank Stadium on Saturday, where 12,000-pound trucks will perform skillful stunts and tricks in front of families.

However, this event is particularly unique because it marks the last Monster Jam that will be held at EverBank before it becomes “The Stadium of the Future.”
News4JAX spoke to communications officials who said they’re still deciding on a location for next year’s Monster Jam and have begun the process of looking at potential venues in Jacksonville.
Before the festivities officially kicked off, people like Kevin Grant participated in a “pit party” where kids could be seen riding monster truck replicas and families could get an up close and personal view of their favorite trucks and drivers.
“It’s fun to see their level of excitement,“ Grant said. ”And to see pretty much the same level of excitement in their faces that I had as a child, it’s a great experience.”
The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office provided a friendly reminder to the community, asking everyone to be patient and safe as they navigate traffic brought on by Monster Jam, which begins at 7 p.m., and Shane Gillis’s performance at the VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena, which begins at 8 p.m.

Those on the east side of the stadium can still park on Bryan Street at the end of Duval Street, along with Talleyrand and Adams Streets areas.

Tickets
Tickets and Pit Party Passes are now available online for purchase at Ticketmaster.
Tickets start at $20.
All fans age 2 and older are required to have a ticket.

You’re encouraged to arrive early for parking purposes.
- 4 p.m. - minimal delays
- 5 p.m. - moderate delays
- After 5:30 p.m. - heavy delays
Make sure to have your mobile tickets and mobile parking passes downloaded and ready to scan before leaving home.
Plan ahead and purchase parking early to avoid increased traffic and limited parking availability.
Cash is not accepted at EverBank Stadium.
Non-clear bags must be 4.5 inches by 6.5 inches or less. Belt bags are not permitted.
Smoking of any kind is also not allowed.
Pit Party (2:30-5:30 p.m.)
At the Pit Party there are huge monster trucks up close, you can meet your favorite drivers and crew, get autographs, take pictures and enjoy other family-oriented activities.
How to purchase them:
- Buy a Pit Pass together with your regular ticket order.
- Buy a Pit Party Pass even after you have already purchased your ticket.
Pit Party: Early Access Pass (1:30-2:30 p.m.)
The Early Access Pit Pass gets you into the Pit Party an hour before the normal Pit Party admission. It also allows you to stay through the entirety of the Pit Party.
Post-event Driver Meet and Greet
Monster Jam offers a meet and greet opportunity to meet and talk with the drivers after the event. You can take photos, get autographs, and hear competition takeaways from the drivers.
Monster Jam Trackside (6 p.m.)
Monster Jam Trackside begins about one hour before the event start time and features:

- Behind the scenes with the pit crew
- Judges zone overview
- Opening ceremonies
