JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The pie shop that previously served delicious sweet treats on Jacksonville’s Riverside is resurging in its next chapter with a downtown location.
Mixed Fillings Pie Shop announced closing its Historic Five Points location in July but not without leaving patrons with a glimpse of hope that the shop was headed for a “new chapter.”

Now nearly six months later, the shop announced on Facebook that it will reopen in the heart of downtown on Adams Street.
“I know we said we were gonna chill but there is in undeniable magic in our community and we have to follow this journey to see where it leads us next!” the post said.
The shop plans to open in March on Pi Day, so mark your calendars for Friday, March 14 (3.14).
The latest location will also include access to a parking garage.
“This isn’t just a comeback it’s a love letter to Jacksonville, signed, sealed, and baked to perfection,” the post said, showing appreciation to the community that would not allow the shop to officially throw in the towel.
Can’t wait for March? Well, you can find Mixed Fillings serving the community at the Riverside Arts Market on Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
