JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The MLK Holiday Grand Parade in Jacksonville has been postponed due to cold weather concerns, a city spokesperson confirmed.
The 44th annual parade was initially scheduled to take place on Monday, Jan. 20, but because of the upcoming frigid weather that will be visiting Northeast Florida, the city and the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial Foundation decided to postpone the event out of an abundance of caution.
