Participants are encouraged to arrive 30 minutes early to allow time for parking, paying the entrance fee, and preparing for the hike.

Entrance fees are $4 for single-occupancy vehicles, $5 per vehicle for up to eight people, and $2 for pedestrians or bicyclists.

The hike will be led by a park ranger along the scenic Dune Ridge Trail, which spans two miles atop an ancient dune ridge covered by a canopy of live oaks, cedars, and sabal palms.

Afterward, participants will enjoy a two-mile walk along the picturesque beach, returning to the parking area.

Organizers recommend wearing comfortable closed-toed shoes and layered clothing and bringing water, snacks, and sunscreen.
