Cooper’s Hawk Winery & Restaurants is making waves in Jacksonville with the opening of its second location in the city and 14th in the state.

The lifestyle brand, which blends food and wine experiences, officially opened its doors Monday, Dec. 9, in Jacksonville’s Mandarin Landing at 10601 San Jose Blvd. The restaurant is located in the same area as the Whole Foods Market and shopping mall.
The Mandarin location is led by Jose Garcia, who collaborates closely with Executive Chef Matt McMillin to deliver exceptional quality and innovation in modern casual dining, according to a release. The menu highlights international flavors paired with wines from the company’s collection. Each dish is listed with a bin number to guide guests to its perfect wine pairing.
Signature dishes and wine pairings
Diners can enjoy a variety of culinary delights, including:
- Crispy Brussels Sprouts: Cashews, Mint, Sweet Tai Chili, Sesame-Sriracha Aioli
- Trio of Medallions: Horseradish, Bleu Cheese, and Parmesan-Crusted Filet Medallions, Mary’s Potatoes, Asparagus
- Soy Ginger Atlantic Salmon: Wasabi-Buttered Mashed, Asian Slaw
- Gnocchi Carbonara: Pancetta, Chicken, Sage, Peas, Parmesan Garlic Cream Sauce
- Drunken Shrimp: Bacon-Wrapped Shrimp, Tequila Lime Butter Sauce, Fresh Guacamole
The diverse menu also includes lunch, brunch, Happy Hour, kids’ options, carryout, and catering. A dedicated gluten-free menu ensures accessibility for all guests.
Wine and atmosphere
Cooper’s Hawk Winery has earned over 600 awards for its wines, sourcing premium grapes from top vineyards worldwide. Its offerings cater to a range of palates, from wine newcomers to seasoned enthusiasts. The restaurant also features craft cocktails and sangrias crafted with house wines.
The new location boasts a spacious indoor dining area accommodating 300 guests, alongside a covered patio with 40 additional seats. A flexible private dining space for up to 48 guests adds another layer of appeal. Guests can also explore the Napa-style tasting room and retail space, which are hallmark features of every Cooper’s Hawk location.
The Jacksonville-Mandarin location is poised to become a community hub for food and wine enthusiasts.
Haley Construction Inc. of Daytona Beach built the 10,725-square-foot, free-standing building at a project cost of $4.5 million, the Jacksonville Daily Record reported.
Founded in 2005 by CEO Tim McEnery and headquartered in Downers Grove, Illinois, Cooper’s Hawk is known for its award-winning winery, contemporary-American dining, artisan market, and Napa-style tasting room. McEnery’s vision revolves around the belief that food and wine can create lasting connections. Dining reservations are highly recommended and Wine Tastings are walk-in only. Walk-in guests will be served based on the order of arrival and availability.
According to the website, hours are 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday-Thursday; 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday; 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday; and 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday.
