JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – PFLAG Jacksonville will host its annual celebration in August to award scholarships to local LGBTQ+ individuals pursuing post-secondary or trade school education.
This year, PFLAG will be awarding up to 12 scholarships, surpassing the amounts in years prior. The celebration program will be held at 7 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 3 at UNF’s Adam W. Herbert University Center.

The deadline for scholarships to be submitted has been extended to June 15. Students who apply must have graduated high school and reside in or attend school in the Jacksonville and Northeast Florida areas (Duval, Nassau, Clay, St. Johns, and Baker counties).
