Jacksonville – In the Jacksonville area, over 90,000 kids are at risk of going hungry this weekend. These kids rely on their school’s free and reduced-price meal program to provide the nourishment they need to learn and grow. But, what happens to these kids when school closes its doors on Friday? Who will feed the kids this weekend? Together, we will!
To ensure the kids in our community have full tummies over the weekend, Blessings in a Backpack sends them home on Fridays with backpacks full of satisfying and nutritional food.
Established in 2017, the North Florida chapter is feeding nearly 5,000 this school year and has the potential to feed many more.
Join them at Souperbowl on Thursday, February 5, 2026 to help feed kids in our community!
Activities include Soup tasting, live music, silent auction, wine, whiskey, desserts, and more! It’s sure to be a fun evening.
