A little fog in some areas this morning, otherwise we’re starting Tuesday mostly quiet and mild, with temperatures in the low to mid 70s and calm wind early.
Most of the day looks partly to mostly sunny with highs near 88. Rain chances stay on the lower side today, around 30%, with a few showers possible early and a better chance for isolated to scattered showers and storms after lunchtime as the sea breeze gets going.
Not everyone will see rain, but any storm that develops could briefly slow things down later today.
Rain chances increase Wednesday. We’ll start with a few showers possible before noon, then scattered showers and storms develop through the afternoon, especially after 3 p.m.
Highs stay near 88, but northeast winds will pick up around 9 to 14 mph with gusts near 20 mph. Wednesday’s rain chance is around 60%, so that looks like the wetter day of the week.
By Thursday, a front or drier push begins to work in. We’ll still have a slight chance for a shower or storm after 2 p.m., but rain coverage drops to around 20%. It will be breezy with highs closer to the lower 80s.
The payoff arrives Friday into the weekend: sunshine, lower humidity, and cooler mornings. Highs Friday through Sunday stay in the low 80s, with morning lows dropping into the mid 60s and even lower 60s inland by Saturday morning. Overall, a much more comfortable stretch heading into the weekend.
