The hot and humid days of summer continue to sizzle with a Heat Advisory tomorrow Noon - 7 p.m.
At the time of this update, the Feels Like temperature is 95 degrees, four degrees warmer than our normal daytime high.
Our daily dousing of showers and thunderstorms will be limited to isolated to widely scattered activity mainly between 2 p.m. and 10 p.m. Locally heavy rain, lightning and gusty wind remain the storm hazards.
Speaking of storms, it looks like we could have a short-lived Tropical Depression or Storm later this week. Wednesday: Hot and humid. Heat Advisory noon - 7 p.m. Heat indices up to 110 degrees. Isolated showers and thunderstorms, mainly after 2 p.m., 20-30 percent. Wake up temperatures in the 70s. Afternoon highs in the 90s inland, upper 80s to low 90s along the beaches. Wind: W 5-10 mph.
Thursday - Friday: The heat continues with possible heat advisories. Lows in the 70s, highs in the mid to upper 90s inland, upper 80s to 90s along the beaches. Wind: WSW 5 -10 mph.
Looking ahead: The heat and humidity linger with temperatures hovering near advisory levels this weekend. Scattered showers and thunderstorms possible.
