Georgia voters will have a chance to shape the future of their state during this election year, with an open seat for governor highlighting the races on the 2026 ballot. In addition to the state races, many local communities across Georgia have local races on the ballot this year.
In Pierce County, all local races were either uncontested or already decided in the primary or primary runoff. Some may still appear on the general election ballot, but with only one candidate.
