The Foundation was created in memory of Kate Amato, Lisa’s daughter, whose vibrant spirit continues to inspire efforts to find safer, smarter and more effective treatments for children fighting cancer — the leading cause of death by disease in children.
Lisa discusses the ongoing One Million, One Mission Campaign, which is just under $50,000 away from reaching an incredible $1 million dollars in research grants funded for pediatric cancer.
Their goal is to reach $1 million by November 30, ahead of the Foundation’s annual grant announcement day on December 10 — a day that also marks what would have been Kate’s 21st birthday.
