Man arrested in Glynn County Murder

A Brunswick man was arrested after officers found a 48-year-old man fatally shot at a residence in the Old Cypress Mill Road area, according to the Glynn County Police Department.

Officers responded around 9:36 p.m. Sept. 25. Glynn County Fire Rescue personnel pronounced Roy Harris II dead at the scene.

Detectives interviewed 47-year-old Jonathan True and several witnesses before arresting True. Police said he faces two counts of felony murder, malice murder, aggravated assault, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and possession of a firearm during the commission of certain crimes.

True was taken to the Glynn County Detention Center.
