ST. JOHNS COUNTY, Fla. – Residents in and around the SilverLeaf area now have access to 24/7 adult and pediatric emergency care with the opening of the Baptist & Wolfson Emergency Room at SilverLeaf.
The emergency room is part of the Baptist SilverLeaf Medical Campus, which also offers primary care, neurology, orthopedics, rehabilitation services, cardiology, laboratory services and a Wellness Center.

Zuino, president and CEO of Baptist Health, said. “With the addition of this emergency center to our new Baptist SilverLeaf Medical Campus, we’re expanding access to expert care for families in this growing part of St. Johns County and reinforcing our commitment to being there when they need us most.”
About 1.02 million people currently live within a 30-minute drive of the area, which is projected to grow 9.3% by 2031.
The SilverLeaf emergency room is part of Baptist Health’s regional emergency care network. Emergency department clinicians are trained to care for patients of all ages, from infants to adults.
The facility is also part of Wolfson Children’s Hospital’s emergency network. Wolfson Children’s is the region’s only full-service children’s hospital and Northeast Florida’s only state-designated, American College of Surgeons-verified Level I Pediatric Trauma Center.
The facility’s pediatric protocols and emergency teams are designed to help ensure children receive the appropriate level of care, including when serious conditions initially present with minor symptoms.

It joins a network of local pediatric emergency centers found exclusively at Baptist Health and Wolfson Children’s Hospital locations, giving families a seamless connection to the hospital when a higher level of care is needed.”
The emergency room also includes an imaging center for adults and children, with X-rays, ultrasounds, CT scans and other diagnostic services.

The Baptist SilverLeaf Medical Campus opened in June with a Wellness Center and offices for primary care, cardiology, rehabilitation and laboratory services.
The campus has since expanded to include orthopedics, neurology and emergency care for adults and children. The services are part of Baptist Health’s regional network of care.
