JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – After a warm and muggy morning with temperatures in the 70s, temperatures will climb into the upper 80s to low 90s this afternoon.
Widespread showers and storms will develop in the afternoon and evening. Heavy rain, frequent lightning and gusty wind will be possible in any storm.
Isolated instances of flooding will be possible, especially for locations that see several rounds of showers and storms.
Make sure to keep an eye on the sky, as storms could develop rapidly. Activity will eventually dissipate later in the evening.

Thursday will feature a mix of sun and clouds with highs in the low 90s.
