Update: 9:15 p.m. Thunderstorms are weakening and end between 10 - 11 p.m. One small cluster near Homeland and Folkston will weaken as it moves east of Highway 301 and fade over northern Nassau County. The next cluster in Nassau County will move into northern Duval County and dissipate by 11 p.m.
Increasing rain chances and coverage this weekend. A few showers will be possible early Saturday morning with increasing coverage during the afternoon and early evening. Locally heavy rain and wind remain the main storm hazards.
More of the same Sunday with scattered showers and thunderstorms developing after noon and continuing through late night. The pattern remains unsettled on Monday with near seasonal temperatures and sea breeze showers and storms through the rest of the week.
