The Atlantic sea breeze is pushing isolated showers and thunderstorms inland.
Update: Strong to isolated severe storms will continue along our southern zones, in Alachua and Putnam counties. A Severe Thunderstorm Warning for Alachua and Putnam counties will expire at 4:45 p.m. Expect gusty, possibly damaging wind, lightning and locally heavy rainfall as the storm slowly moves into Alachua County after 5 p.m.
This round will weaken after sunset with the stragglers lingering through 11 p.m.
Tonight: Isolated showers with thunderstorms through around 11 p.m.
Saturday: Partly cloudy skies with scattered showers, thunderstorms. Rain chances for SE GA, 30-60 percent; NE FL 40-60 percent. Lows in the 70s. Afternoon highs in the 80s and low 90s. Wind: SSW 5-15 mph. Showers with storms will be possible through 11 p.m.
Sunday: Increasing rain chances with locally heavy rainfall possible. Rain chances 50-80 percent. The best chance for locally heavy rain will be along and west of I-75 in northeast Florida. Temperatures will trend near seasonal, with lows in the 70s and afternoon highs in the 80s to low 90s. Wind SW 5-10 mph.
