Although this may not be Christmas Island, it will still feel tropical under mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies, with warmer-than-average temperatures expected through Sunday.
A strong cold front will bring winter back for a few days next week, with freezes and frost likely starting Tuesday morning.
The record high for today is 83 degrees, set in 2017. At last check, it was 81 degrees. Temperatures will average 5 to 8 degrees above normal in the morning and 8 to 12 degrees in the afternoon. The average temperatures this time of year are 45 degrees and 67 degrees.
Patchy to areas of dense fog is expected overnight and early Thursday morning. It is nothing that should get in the way of a glowing red nose, but early morning travelers should use caution.
