LIVE RADAR: Heavy rain at times, cooler temps expected to impact Saturday, Jaguars game Sunday

Saturday won’t be a complete washout; however, steady rain will persist on Sunday

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Heavy rainfall is expected to dampen the weekend across Southeast Georgia and Northeast Florida, including the Jaguars game on Sunday.

Saturday will bring below-normal temperatures, with highs in the mid-50s inland in Southeast Georgia and mid-60s to low 70s in Northeast Florida. Rain today will mostly stay north of I-10. Thunderstorms aren’t expected.

Thick cloud cover will keep temperatures mild Saturday night and into Sunday morning. However, storm coverage will increase on Sunday as a frontal passage stalls in the region, bringing a chance of thunderstorms. While storms are expected, severe weather conditions are not anticipated.
