High Pressure Brings Sunshine, Warm Temps Next Week

Jacksonville could see driest November on record

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Tonight will be mostly clear and pleasant with temperatures in the 50s and 60s.

Tonight's fog forecast.

Patchy dense fog will be possible once again tonight. Make sure to plan extra travel time if you are heading out early Monday morning.

High pressure will remain over our area early next week, which means we will see sunshine and warm temperatures. Highs will be near 80 degrees.

A front could bring a few spotty showers later this week.

As we head into the Thanksgiving holiday, a front will bring a few spotty showers to our area late Wednesday into Thanksgiving Day. Many spots will remain dry as there won’t be much moisture with the front. Temperatures will remain well above normal with highs near 80 degrees through Wednesday.

Cooler air will filter in behind the front for Thanksgiving Day and beyond. Highs will be in the 60s and 70s with a mix of sun and clouds.

Driest Novembers on record.

If we end the month of November with no rain at the Jacksonville International Airport, it would be the driest November on record.

The airport has reported no rainfall for the month. This would surpass November of 1970 where a trace of rain was reported.
