Foggy conditions expected again late tonight and early Saturday.

Near record highs will continue this weekend. Above-normal temperatures will start the week, with a slight chance of showers and cooler temperatures moving in on Thanksgiving.

Most areas will stay dry this weekend with a slight chance of showers possible across inland southeast Georgia. The onshore wind will return on Sunday, bringing slightly cooler afternoon highs. Models are split on timing, but based on the current forecast, it looks like the front will move through on Thanksgiving. Below normal temperatures will linger through Saturday.

The record for Saturday is 84 degrees set back in 1973 and the record for Sunday is 84 set in 1992.

Tonight: Mostly clear and mild with patchy to dense fog.

Weekend: Patchy to dense fog through around 9 a.m., followed by hazy skies that will slowly clear through the afternoon. Morning lows in the 50s and 60s. Near record highs in the upper 70s to low 80s. Wind: SW 5 -10 mph. Mostly clear and mild overnight with patchy to dense fog late. A slight chance of showers will be possible early Saturday for inland SE GA. Onshore winds return Sunday with slightly cooler afternoon highs on Monday.

Looking ahead: Above average temperatures will continue through Wednesday. A weakening cold front will drag across the area on Thanksgiving, bringing cooler temperatures and a slight chance of showers, 20 percent.
