Warm Temperatures for Trick or Treat and Touchdowns

Onshore wind and a slight chance of showers

. (.)

A slight chance of showers will continue along the beaches due to the onshore wind and a weak front offshore.  Mostly clear inland with partly cloudy skies for the coastal counties.  Above average temperatures expected through the weekend.

Tonight:  Partly cloudy with showers possible along our beaches.  Patchy to areas of dense fog overnight.

Thursday:  Patchy fog early then becoming partly cloudy with a steady southeast breeze.  A slight chance of coastal county showers will continue, 10-20 percent.  Wake up temperatures 60s to low 70s.  Afternoon highs in the upper 70s to low 80s.  Wind:  E/SE 5-15 mph.

Halloween - Weekend:  It’s looking good for those collecting sacks of candy or those slow-cookin’ slabs of ribs next to a cooler full of something malty, frosty and good.

Tropics:  No changes.  The chance for tropical development remains the same.  A tropical depression could form later this week or over the weekend.  Formation chance through 48 hours is 0 percent and the formation chance through 7 days is 40 percent.
