Florida dentist faces state complaint, criminal case after patient death

The Florida Board of Dentistry has filed an administrative complaint against local dentist Francesco Sebastiani, also known as Dr. Franco, alleging improper treatment of a patient that resulted in her death in 2023. The complaint, filed earlier this year, details that on Feb. 1, 2023, a patient identified as C.S. visited a dental implant center in Jacksonville where Sebastiani provided care.
