Woman, 2 children from Lake City die in Suwannee County crash that also killed pick-up truck driver from Live Oak: FHP

SUWANNEE COUNTY, Fla. – A three-car crash just before 10 p.m. Tuesday on U.S. 90 in Suwannee County left four people dead, including two young girls from Lake City, the Florida Highway Patrol said.

The children, ages 8 and 6, were riding in a car driven by a 76-year-old woman from Lake City.

Troopers said the circumstances of the crash are still not known, but the woman and the two children died at the scene.

So did a 33-year-old man from Live Oak who was driving a pick-up truck.

The third vehicle was a sedan driven by a 44-year-old man from Live Oak. Information on his injuries was unclear in the report.

Neither the Lake City woman nor the driver of the pick-up who died was wearing a seat belt, according to FHP.

Information about seat belts for the others involved, including the children, was unclear, the report showed.

FHP does not release the names of those involved in crashes.
