He arranged music on their albums and appeared with the choir in 1996 film “The Preacher’s Wife,” starring Whitney Houston and Denzel Washington. Sneed helped form Youth For Christ, which was comprised of members between the ages of 12 and 18 from the Georgia Mass Choir. 1 on Billboard’s gospel songs chart in 2006.

LOS ANGELES – A feature film about Whitney Houston's life is in the works from the screenwriter of “Bohemian Rhapsody.” The biopic is being shepherded by the Whitney Houston Estate, music producer Clive Davis and Primary Wave Music, the partners said Wednesday. “I Wanna Dance with Somebody" will follow Houston from obscurity to pop stardom and promises to be “frank about the price that super-stardom exacted," according to the announcement. “From all my personal and professional experience with Whitney from her late teenage years to her tragic premature death, I know the full Whitney Houston story has not yet been told,” Davis said in a statement. Foxx was playful all night, salsa dancing with the crowd, practicing his Spanish and telling everyone to get close because he smelled especially good that evening. “We want the original Whitney," he said, before getting the audience to chant her name. The event raised money for several charities, auctioning off sports memorabilia, last-minute Super Bowl tickets and a retreat on a private island in Belize.

Paramedics were called to Nick Gordon's hotel room in Maitland, a suburb of Orlando, early Wednesday morning to check on an unresponsive man, according to a statement from the Maitland Police Department. The paramedics in the Sheraton hotel room began treating Gordon, who was identified in the police statement as Nicholas Bouler. Investigators with the medical examiner’s office were not able to determine exactly how Bobbi Kristina Brown died.

New details about the rumored relationship between the late Whitney Houston and her longtime friend, Robyn Crawford, are coming to light in Crawford's new memoir, A Song For You: My Life With Whitney Houston. She later adds that it was Houston who ended the physical part of their relationship in 1982. Crawford adds that Houston's mother, Cissy Houston, was against their bond, claiming, "Whitney told me her mother said it wasn't natural for two women to be that close, but we were that close." Houston's ex-husband, Bobby Brown, also claimed the singer had a same-sex relationship with Crawford in his 2016 memoir, Every Little Step: My Story. "I really feel that if Robyn was accepted into Whitney's life, Whitney would still be alive today," he told Us Weekly at the time.

Whitney Houston may have tragically died in 2012, but her spirit (and voice) will live on in a new hologram tour that is set to hit cities all over the world next year. It's being called "An Evening with Whitney Houston" and tour dates kick off in Mexico and will wrap up in Belarus in March of 2020. According to Rolling Stone, the hologram of Houston will make some stops in the U.S. sometime during 2020. While the idea of seeing a hologram version of Houston performing all her hit songs may seem weird, or even unnatural, performing holograms are not new. There was even supposed to be a hologram tour of Amy Winehouse, but the tour was scrapped due to some "unique challenges and sensitivities."
