The full moon will rise officially during the daytime at 4:30 p.m. Friday. This will be the fourth and final supermoon of 2024.

A rare super blue full moon is coming Monday.

If you’ve missed any of the celestial events that have happened this year already -- the Pink Moon in April or the recent solar eclipse, to name a couple -- you’ve got one more chance to witness a rare supermoon this year, and it’s happening this week.

A total lunar eclipse on May 26, 2021, will make the full "supermoon" appear to be a rusty-reddish color in some parts of the United States.

NASA says the moon will be at its fullest tonight at 11:32 p.m. Eastern Time.
