Former Duval Teachers United President Teresa “Terrie” Brady pleaded guilty Thursday in federal court in connection with a fraud scheme that investigators say stole more than $1.2 million from the union over nearly a decade.

Ruby George, 81, former executive vice president of Duval Teachers United, pleaded guilty Monday to conspiracy and fraud charges related to a scheme that stole more than $1.2 million from the union over nearly a decade.

Terrie Brady, along with former DTU Vice President Ruby George, 81, have been accused of conspiring to steal more than $1.2 million each between 2013 and 2022.
