For the past four summers, she has directed, produces and organized a free two-week musical theater camp for 30 elementary aged children who otherwise wouldn’t have the opportunity to attend a summer camp. The campers are provided with breakfast, lunch and two snacks daily and even put on a full musical theater performance for their friends, families and guardians at the end of camp. At just seventeen-years-old, this will be Abigail’s fifth year organizing Camp Fixel for 30 incoming 2nd through 6th graders and she plans to continue the camp for more years to come.

Some fast food restaurants which already relied more heavily on drive-thru and takeout have been slow to reopen dining rooms. The company distributed a 59-page rule book that franchisees must follow as they reopen dining rooms. Restaurant Brands CEO Jose Cil says opening dining rooms helps customers feel more confident as they slowly re-establish their routines. NPD analyst David Portalatin says full-service restaurants have more issues than fast food restaurants when it comes to reopening dining rooms.

On Wednesday a worker at the pickup truck plant in Dearborn, Michigan, tested positive for COVID-19, Ford confirmed. On Tuesday, Ford temporarily closed its Chicago SUV factory twice after two workers tested positive. Lear confirmed that production was suspended after an employee told the company of a positive COVID-19 test. The UFCW, which represents 900,000 grocery workers, said the number of infections is likely far higher across the industry.

ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. - A St. Johns County man is accused of pulling a gun on a woman who wouldnt try his vape pen. The confrontation happened Friday morning at the McDonalds on U.S. 1 in St. Augustine where the woman works, according to an arrest report. He said a stranger had flashed a handgun after he refused to try out the mans vape pen. Deputies said the woman identified him on sight and recognized the weapon, a .45-caliber handgun, as the one shown to her before. Deputies identified the suspect as Kyle McGill Walker, 19, of St. Augustine.
