Ready, set, go! The Wolfson Children’s Challenge is back with a new course and a new format. Join us on Saturday, January 25 for 5k and one-mile races starting at the Winston Family YMCA in Riverside. The proceeds will benefit Wolfson Children’s Rehabilitation.

Nine babies seven girls and two boys were born to members of the Rancho Cucamonga Fire District between March and July this year. The babies were photographed in cute firefighter onesies, and in one of the shots, they all laid on their dads' fire jackets. For the last 500 days, little Jack Shields called the hospital his home. So when it came time for him be discharged, staff celebrated his improved health with a sweet goodbye. Jack and his dad, Joe Shields, were met with a row of smiling nurses and doctors, who bid them farewell with hugs. Hes a fighter, and hes overcome every challenge hes faced with a smile on his face, Shields said, according to Nationwide Childrens Hospital. Jacks condition ended up being direr than his twins, and he spent nearly 500 days at the Nationwide Childrens Hospital in Columbus, Ohio.

At Children's Mercy Hospital, 36 NICU nurses are all giving birth this year. "The parents would joke when they see so many pregnant people walking around, like, 'Do you have to be pregnant to work here?'"
