Military families in the Jacksonville area will have a special opportunity this Saturday to connect with nature and each other through a free fishing clinic at Kathryn Abbey Hanna Park near Mayport.

Our military members sacrifice more than many of us will ever know. But behind the scenes, their families shoulder a great deal as well -- frequent relocations, unemployment, social isolation -- and they do it all while supporting and loving their service member.

“At ease” is a welcome command for service members. But for their families holding down the home front, relief is much harder to find.
