April is officially Hot Car Death Prevention Month in Florida, thanks to Ariya’s Act, which took effect last July after it was signed into law by Gov. Ron DeSantis.

It was an emotional day in court for the family of the 10-month-old who was left in a hot car and died in the summer of 2023.
