Attorney General Ashley Moody announced a restitution settlement against the owners of Riverside Chevrolet. Riverside Chevrolet must also pay $235,000 in civil penalties to the state, as well as $15,000 for the Attorney Generals attorneys fees. He said he and his late wife traded their vehicle in at Riverside Chevrolet. Andrew Ferguson, who owned Riverside Chevrolet for about two years, sold the embattled dealership in June 2018 to Beaver Automotive Group during the scandal.
