JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – There is not much to say about this game except that the streak lives on. The Jags have now beaten the Colts in Jacksonville for 11 straight years.
The goal going into the year was to play important games in December. Well, I think that needed to be amended just a bit. The goal was to win games in December, and the Jags did that.

I asked guys in the locker room after the game just how difficult it is to play your best football game in December, and they all looked at me and said it’s tough. We see the games, but some of those tough practices wear guys down, and injuries start to stack up. But even with that, the Jags are playing their best ball right now.
If they keep this up, no team will want to play them in the postseason.
More importantly, if Trevor Lawrence keeps this up, the Jags will be a team no one wants to play in the postseason. There have been many Trevor haters out there, and he hasn’t been perfect. But since the bye week, Lawrence has been really good.
I know that doesn’t fit the agenda for all the folks who were screaming that he is a bust just a few weeks after the Arizona game. But since Lawrence put that wristband on to help with play calls, he looks like a different guy on the field.
We have seen Lawrence get hot before. When he is hot, the Jags are tough to beat. And right now, Lawrence is hot.
Maybe this will be a December to remember.
