Honestly I was chomping at the bit to get back to football during the bye week but after hearing the news about the injury to Travis Hunter, I am somewhat wanting to go back. However, the Jaguars still have a game this Sunday, a big one against the Raiders and is even bigger now that we know Hunter won’t be playing in it. I think this is a great opportunity for us to see what this team is made of, are they going to come together and get the job done or fold. I am leaning towards getting the job done but it won’t be easy, they need to get back to the run game on offense and return to taking the ball away on defense. Also everybody needs to step up especially BTJ and Dyami Brown. If the receivers can make big plays when their number is called the Jags can find a way to keep the season alive. Give me the Jaguars — Jaguars 24, Raiders 14.

If the Jaguars can’t win this game, they’ve got bigger problems than just their growing injury list. Losing Travis Hunter is significant, but Jacksonville can at least help alleviate his absence if receivers like Brian Thomas Jr. and Dyami Brown can hang on to the football. — Jaguars 23, Raiders 17.

No Travis Hunter and Brian Thomas Jr being limited is major news for the Jaguars. Head coach Liam Coen said Wednesday that he needs to call more run plays and now it seems that will be a must. Both teams are coming off their bye week and have had two weeks to fix their early season mistakes and should be well rested for Sunday’s matchup. If Hunter and Thomas Jr were fully healthy, I would bet a higher score, but I still expect the Jags to win.— Jaguars 21, Raiders 14.

The Raiders aren’t good. END. The Travis Hunter injury puts some doubt in this game and pressure for the Jags to get a dub. Definitely does feel almost like a must-win game but good news is that I expect the Jags to win. Look for Josh Hines-Allen to have a two-sack day and the running game to get back on track. — Jaguars 28, Raiders 10.
