They’re in the game! Local players all over new EA Sports college football game

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The second installment of the EA Sports college football game has an abundance of local talent in the game.

More than 120 players with area ties are on rosters in the “College Football 26″ video game, which was released this week. News4JAX spent Tuesday afternoon going through the rosters

There are 32 local schools represented in the 2026 game.

Sandalwood leads the way with 12 players, followed by Trinity Christian (10) and Bolles (eight).

The highest-rated local players in the game are Miami quarterback Carson Beck, a Mandarin grad and Kentucky offensive tackle Joshua Braun. Both come in at 91s. Florida tackle Austin Barber (Trinity Christian) is next at 86. Camden County tackle and Georgia lineman Micah Morris and UCF running back Myles Montgomery (Fletcher) are both 86s.

On defense, Bradford’s defensive back Jontez Williams (Iowa State) comes in with the highest rating at 90. Trinity Christian’s Keaton Thomas (Baylor linebacker) is an 89. Columbia’s Shyheim Brown (Florida State safety) is an 88 and his former teammate Amare Ferrell (Indiana defensive back) is an 87, University Christian’s Joseph Carter (linebacker at Liberty) is an 86.

Former Mandarin receiver Jaime Ffrench, who signed with the University of Texas last December, is the highest-rated true freshman in the game. Ffrench comes in with a ranking of 80.
