High-speed internet provider Sparklight® is hosting a Dog Days of Summer Pet Supply Drive to benefit the Humane Society of Camden County (HSCC).
Donations will help the organization manage the rising costs of housing and care for the growing number of pets awaiting adoption.

Donations are being collected weekdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. (Wednesdays 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.), now through Friday, Sept. 19, at Sparklight’s retail location at 220 E. King Ave. in Kingsland.
Wish list items include:
- Dry and canned dog and cat food
- Pet treats
- Leashes (all sizes)
- Cleaning supplies (antibacterial wipes, bleach, sponges, spray bottles)
- New or gently used bedding and towels
All donated items will be delivered to HSCC on Monday, Sept. 22, the last day of summer.
“Our local rescues and humane societies are doing incredible work under challenging circumstances,” said Jane Shanley, Sparklight Senior Regional Director, Southeast. “By partnering with them through our Dog Days of Summer Pet Supply Drive, we can help provide the food, supplies and care that give these animals a second chance at finding a loving home.”
