Parking rates at Beaches Town Center increase from $2 to $5 per hour. Here are other paid parking changes

ATLANTIC BEACH, Fla. – It now costs more to park at Beaches Town Center in Atlantic and Neptune Beach.

According to the City of Atlantic Beach, paid parking has increased from $2 to $5 per hour. The first 30 minutes are still free for drivers.

But that’s not the only change when it comes to parking in this area.

Drivers will no longer use the Flowbird app; instead, people will need to pay at a kiosk or using a QR Code.

Residents of Atlantic and Neptune beaches can still park for free, but now have four hours of free parking, compared to the previous three-hour limit.

Those who have already registered their car or cars with the city do not need to do anything.

Registered Atlantic Beach and Neptune Beach residents’ registration remains valid through December 2026. Then, residents must re-register every three years to maintain eligibility. No more than five vehicles are allowed per household.

Paid parking is enforced 11 a.m. to midnight seven days a week year-round in Atlantic Beach.

For new residents who do not have their car registered, they can call 904-566-9410 or send an email to parking@nbfl.us

The paid parking changes only impact parking at the town center.

The pay-for-parking program at the 18th and 19th street public parking areas has not changed. The cost remains the same as it has been.
