GLYNN COUNTY, Ga. – Glynn County Emergency Management & Homeland Security Agency on Tuesday notified residents of a cybersecurity incident that affected the CodeRED mass notification system, saying the company that owns and operates the system confirmed it was a system-wide breach.

Crisis24 said it migrated CodeRED to an updated Crisis24 CodeRED platform and restored data from the most recent pre-incident backup dated March 31, 2025. Accounts created after that date were not included in the restoration and cannot be recovered, the company said.

Glynn County EMA said the overall impact appears limited but that officials do not know how many registrations were added after March 31.

The agency said CodeRED’s primary functions have been restored but that user profile information may have been exposed during the incident. Users are being urged to change the passwords on their CodeRED accounts.

While the agency said the incident originated within a third-party vendor’s system, it added that it is sharing information provided by OnSolve CodeRED as transparently as possible.

Residents with questions about the investigation or the handling of affected data were directed to contact CodeRED customer support at (866) 939-0911 or crsupport@crisis24.com. The company’s office is listed at 6240 Avalon Blvd., Alpharetta, Ga. 30009.

Glynn County EMA said it will continue to monitor the situation and share any new information provided by OnSolve CodeRED.
